PHOS - Presence Heals our Senses

October 2–4, 2026

Experience PHOS, a new experiential platform, where ancient wisdom meets contemporary wellbeing.

PHOS invites you to slow down, reconnect and renew through the island’s culture, landscape and rhythm.

Built around the pillars of Light, Presence and Connection, PHOS brings together movement, cultural immersion, creative expression, gastronomy and shared rituals designed to awaken the senses and deepen your connection to place.

Created by Empiria Group in partnership with Design Hotels and under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO), PHOS is more than a retreat. It is a thoughtfully curated journey designed to reconnect you with yourself, with others and with the character of place.

The PHOS Philosophy

PHOS explores light not only as something we see, but as a state of awareness, stillness, alignment and emotional clarity. Throughout the experience, you’ll reconnect with yourself, others and the spirit of the island through daily gratitude practices, breathwork, sound healing, movement, creative workshops, cultural conversations, and shared dining rituals.

Through daily gratitude practices, breathwork, sound healing, movement, creative workshops, cultural conversations and shared dining rituals, you’ll explore the connection between Greek cultural intelligence and contemporary wellbeing as a lived and deeply felt experience.

A Journey of Light, Presence & Connection

Begin each morning with breathwork, sound healing and gratitude circles before joining inspiring conversations exploring the enduring influence of Ancient Greece on creativity, ethics, architecture and design.

Discover Cycladic craftsmanship through workshops with Eirini Xanthioti, experience immersive sound healing with Nikolaos Unalome and move with the rhythms of the Aegean through guided sessions with Themistoklis Pavlis.

Evenings conclude around the table, celebrating the Greek tradition of storytelling, conversation and togetherness.
